I develop and maintain offline programming software across several projects. In addition to satisfying design requirements, I am able to deliver a user-friendly software interface. I make extensive changes to the software based on the different purposes of the robots/machines sold to the customers. Customers have expressed high satisfaction during software support and training. The software is coded in VBA, and is designed to automate programming processes in CATIA/DELMIA.

RESEARCH ASSISTANT

University of Washington, Mechanical Engineering Department, September, 2014 – April, 2015 | February, 2013 – June, 2014

I worked on an individual research project which aimed at creating a prototype of automated hand grasping motion using a robotic hand. The goal was to explore the potential of prosthetic hand controlled by arm muscle contraction. This mechanism was powered by 9-volt batteries and the source of control was muscle contraction signal from the user. At the end of the project, the robotic hand was able to produce consistent grasping motion based on the magnitude of the live contraction signal.
